A traditional style Edwardian antique bed painted in white, with square section brass top rail, decorative features in the footboard, and oval brass knobs.
The bed shows signs of its age with some marks in the paintwork. We can leave these for authenticity, or we can completely restore the frame to look like new. Please inquire.
This bed takes a standard single 3ft wide x 6ft 3in long base and mattress.
There is an option to lengthen the bed to 6ft 6in (200cm) if you wish, which is often preferable for adults or growing teenagers. We can provide the longer bases and mattresses to fit. Please ask.
You will need a bed base to support the mattress. Bed bases sit on the bedstead frame and can be either Firm or Sprung and come in different depths with a choice of covers.
