Double Size Antique Wooden Beds

This is a common size, perfect for the cosy main bed or a guest bed.

Many antique wooden beds are best suited for the double sizes of 4ft 6in. wide (Standard Double) or occasionally 4ft wide (Small Double).

Very often a bed, which is ideally a Standard Double will accept a Kingsize mattress and bed base set, as an alternative, with a slight overlap on the sides.
