An unrestored 4ft 6in. wide four poster bedstead in cast iron and steel from the late Nineteenth Century. It is photographed here in the Colonial Style with no canopy. An original straight canopy can be provided.
There is an option to restore this bed in its current size. Alternatively we could extend the bedstead to the 5ft width (kingsize) for an extra £100. There are a number of choices for colours, including cream, black or one of our hand paint finishes. You can if you wish provide us with a colour for the bed to be hand painted in.
This bed requires a degree of renovation in stabilizing the panels, possibly raising the head panel and a repair to a back post and hence it would be ideal to repaint it.
