A most impressive four
poster crown and canopy bedstead, with brass plaque
and brass cast fittings on the posts, shown here
in the SuperKing (6ft) width.
This is hand forged in our workshops in Tangier,
Morocco. The design has been taken from an original
Mid Victorian cast iron Four Poster, circa 1875,
and was made in the West Midlands for export to
North Africa. This was at the time when Birmingham
was a notable centre of craftsmanship in metalwork.
It is shown here in our stove black enamel finish
but is also available in any of our other finishes.
This bedstead here is also available as a Colonial
piece (without the crown and canopy).
This bedstead has been dressed with Renaissance
bed cover by Seventh Heaven
